Getting Started
The volunteers in the Heritage Room at Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō are here to assist you in your research. We can get you started with:
- Researching your family history both in New Zealand and abroad.
- Accessing Ancestry.com (genealogy website)
- Kete Horowhenua online.
- NZ Electrol Rolls
- Accessing digital resources (Family Search, Kiwi Index, Shipping records)
There is a Volunteer in the room from 10.00am - 12.30pm Monday to Friday.
Make an appointment outside our volunteer hours.
